The 30 Day Blog Challenge- Results! Part 1

Remember how a while back I announced a contest that involved setting a goal of blogging every day for a month and then celebrating at the end of all that writing with a gift code giveaway? (You can read the original post here.) Well, this is the end of that long and wordy road.

I actually ended up blogging for 21 days straight before humanity happened and I screwed it up. It kind of sucked, to be honest, to have made it so far and then to lose the streak with just a little over...

Behind the Scenes: The Art on Our Labels

Behind the Scenes

One of the things I love most about some of our products is the packaging. Which is really saying something, because we put a ton of focus into the more important things, like the ingredients we use and actual product quality. And much like with people, I think it's something that's never really finished.

Sometimes going through old photos is a little like going through...

Things That Matter

There is a beautiful quote I admire by Diana Vreeland: "You don't have to be pretty. You don't owe prettiness to anyone. Not to your boyfriend/spouse/partner, not to your coworkers, especially not to random men on the street. You don't owe it to your mother, you don't owe it to your children, you don't owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked 'female'."

As a maker and procurer of products that frequently fall very literally into the "beauty" category, this is a truth that really hits home, and...
